چکیده
Alterations of pressure, flow, and resistance to flow in peripheral vascular beds occur frequently and are often grave (5). Because of technical difficulties, however, pressure and flow are infrequently measured and resistance is rarely calculated. As a result, certain facets of the alterations continue to provoke controversy. The exact site of the increase in peripheral resistance in essential hypertension has not been established. Neither is there unanimity of opinion on the caliber of veins in congestive heart failure, extremity blood flow in respiratory tract infection with fever, or venous

The effect of progressive aerobic continuous training on angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin-converting enzyme type 2 in patients with heart failure
Background: Chronic hypertension causes structural and functional changes in the heart, ultimately leading to heart failure (HF), which further increases mortality and morbidit. HF is a complex clinical syndrome caused by various structural or functional abnormalities of the heart that impair the filling capacity of the ventricles. The findings of various trials have shown the association betwe...
متن کاملExercise Considerations during Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Outbreak: A Narrative Review
The widespread outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide has raised concerns about physical activity and exercise. A review of research on physical training and viral infections shows that regular, moderate-intensity aerobic exercise (65-80% VO2max) increases antibody titers, lymphocyte proliferation, gamma interferon, immunoglobulin M, G, and natural killer cells production. It modulates th...

Background: Acute respiratory tract infections, both bacterial and viral, cause 4.5 million childhood deaths worldwide, most of which occur in developing countries. Parainfluenza viruses, of the paramyxoviridae family, are among the common causes of acute respiratory infections, giving rise to 30% of respiratory infections in children before school age. The four parainfluenza viruses that cause...

Background: Dialysis access procedures and complications are important causes of morbidity and hospitalization for chronic hemodialysis patients. Ideally, any patient undergoing hemodialysis should receive an autogenous fistula that can be accessed throughout the patient's life. In patients with primarily unsuitable or secondarily surgically-exhausted veins, a prosthetic graft can be performed....
